Chipehua is inspired by a raw and unforgettable surf trip along the coast of Mexico during the pandemic in 2020, where reaching perfect waves meant hours of hiking through dunes under the sun. The piece reflects both the stillness of the landscape and the intensity of the journey—capturing a moment of arrival shaped by effort, solitude, and the quiet reward of discovering something rare and powerful.
